of wet snow. The cold
front will sit around
until Tuesday."

Until Tuesday.
I, too, will sit
around until Tuesday,
watching hollowblocks
slowly obscure
my view of the sky
from this hospital bed.
Tuesday is when
the doctors tell me
what the large white
spot on my filmed chest
actually means
and then I can leave
the hollowblocks
to their project
and watch the sky
from my own bed,
without fear,
without tears.
